In the long 200 mm version, these combination pliers from Knipex are particularly strong. The serrated gripping jaws hold flat workpieces firmly, preventing twisting. They feature a serrated, oval burner port for round and half-round objects. These holding options make several functions possible: e.g. counter-holding small and medium-sized hexagonal nuts, pulling and holding sheet metal and angled steel, holding and turning pipes and conduits, bending locking pins and tensioning Bowden cables. These combination pliers are also versatile and powerful when cutting. They cut multi-strand copper cables up to Ø 13.0 mm, medium-hard wire up to Ø 3.8 mm and even hard wire (wire rope strand) up to Ø 2.5 mm. Thanks to the long cutting edges, both wires and thick cables (up to 16 mm²) can be easily inserted into and cut with the pliers. The interaction between the hardness of the cutting edges (approx. 60 HRC), sharpness and long lever arm ensures that the effort expended by the user is low.

Forged from special tool steel, oil hardened and chrome plated

The large and strong Knipex 03 06 200 VDE combination pliers offer excellent tool usefulness and durability. Forged from special tool steel, they receive an additional, multi-stage oil hardening. The final chrome plating protects against corrosion and makes cleaning easier. The VDE-tested combination pliers impress with many possible uses on construction sites and in the electrical industry.
